Company 75th Anniversary Dinner @ 10/31/2007 10:10:00 PM

Last Sat, 27th Oct 2007 is our company 75th Anniversary Dinner Function.

All the managment Heads were tasked to attend this function and that include me also....


A total of 100 tables were put up to host 1000 guests at that nite.


My table number was NO.53


We were served with drink 1st.... Me had coke while Ter had orange juice.


Our 1st dish of the nite is SATAY...


2nd dish is Lontong Vegetable soup.....


Follow on by 3rd, 4th and 5th dishes....

The food is nice but the service is damn bad.... can u imagine having a waiter throwing at u on the table a plate.... :(


But nvm... i ended he note taking pic of us.... before we headed home. :P

Restaurant at Ang Mio Kio Hub @ 10/29/2007 10:20:00 PM

It reminded me of a restaurant that i went with Hubby Ter on one of the Sat.

Could say that the food served are fabulous delicious....

Especially their Samsui Chicken, Soup Restaurant


It has very much to do with it's owner Mr Mok's family history. His grandmother was a Samsui woman. These legendary group of womenfolk labourers in their red and blue hats helped built modern Singapore and are an icon in their own right. Their frugality and dogged determination to work hard and fend for each gave birth to a brand of food that this restaurant is trying to rediscover and propagate.

For starters, those tough ol' ladies would largely exist daily on a high fibre vegetarian diet. Dried fish would be a bonus. They saved and ate thriftily in order to remit their monies back to their ancestral home in Samsui (the Three Gorges), Kwangtung in China. Come Chinese New Year, it would mean a feast for them, and steaming a plump chicken, marinated in ginger is de-rigeur. The shredded ginger would then be tossed in some stock and sesame oil and served as a dip. The cut up boneless pieces of chicken are dipped in the ginger sauce and (this is the best part), wrapped in lettuce and then chomped.

It comes fully deboned, placed around a huge round platter with a bowl of the ginger dip in the middle. A stack of nicely trimmed lettuce leaves accompanies it. You simply pick, dip, wrap and eat…..hwahhh!!

I had to be attached to JBS to help out n thus I had a fun week attaching to my business school to learn from my mentor, Mr Yunos.

Of course, the colleauges there are fabulous so good to me. I kind of become their motivator to motivate them to look forward to their job. ut the best news of the week was the Manager( Which i hate most)of the Branch was demoted to Marketing Officer.

Not that i am being mean, i jus dun like him at all since the 1st impression he given to me. Ineffiency and useless, redundant, lack of leadership skills.... etc. Overall, he make the staffs suffers. He demoralise them and try to soil discord between them. On top of that, He a Troublemaker. Make the Biz School operation run upside down.

Luckily, i gt my Mentor to come in to make thing right. He make me looking forward to come to work everyday. Although he is senior den me, but he will nv exert his power on me. Wat a nice Mentor i got.

Wanna thanks my chairman for bringing to where i m today. Maybe look for job when i have seen all my PRJ come to past.

Wisdom Tooth Infection @ 10/21/2007 10:59:00 PM

Last Sat i Kena the painful experience once again.

Yes! Wisdom Tooth Infection.

It was like on sat, i woke up wiz my left face swollen like chipmunk. I thought i could tahan the pain but it was so painful that i could hardly open up mu mouth. :(

So i decided to request from my boss to go off early to see a dentist.

Called up my Hubby, Ter and told him i am coming over to his hse in Ang Mio Kio to meet him den we go see dentist together....

We went to the 1st clinic and regristed myself...

So the receptionist told me to hang ard the place so that when she called me, i will be able to make it to see the dentist as the dentist is quite busy at that moment.

But the wait was so so so so long! A wait of 3 hrs plus make me suffer in silence and no mood to do anyting....

When i came back from the walk to the clinic, the receptionist told me that the dentist is still available. Sad... Sad... Sad... Hmmm..... So Dear and me went to in search for another clinic but it seemed that our luck is down...

Finally, i gave up and accompany Dear to have his lunch cos he was hungry but i gt no mood to eat but still i jus order a plate of chicken rice.... Before i ate, i pray to GOD to help me.... after that, slowly and steadily to eat and wiz one hand holding to my face, i ate so slow.

Surprisely, my hone rang shortly, the dentist was willing to see me.... So excited that i dump all my food to Dear to eat. I told him that after he finished eating he can come find me..

So off i went to clinic.... Surprised was when i reached the clinic.. the dentist that saw me is actually my next door neighbour.. OMG! i called him for about 3 yrs as Kor Kor but nv get to know what he worked as. Cos he give me the impression that he is a engineer or IT Guy!

Hahaha.... Praise the Lord!

The service is sooooooo good that i tink i wan recommend my frenz and my brother to go to him....

18th October 2007, Thursday, we went for a time of gathering at New York Cafe.

Lol.... It seemed like tis week i m stuck in either Marina Square or CityLink.


We sat in the cafe..... while waiting for Wendy to come, we decided to look thru the menu so that ltr when Wendy come, we can start to order our food...


We tok and Joke and started to take photo of one another. Poor Dear become my Target!

When Wendy came, we started to order our food. The table was filled up wiz a lot of dishes... Hahaha... Greedy pig hor?


After finishing our meal, we r always into playing food.... Look at the above pic and u will noe....


But I tink Rebec was veri veri tired.. u see hw her face look and u will noe....


After that, we went to make our own candy floss... Lol.... The Brother and Sisters are all in.... See hw happy we r... :P

We went home but good to say I ad a fun day but yet tiring! But have to thank Paul Kor for treating us!

On Tuesday, 16th Oct 2007, I met up with some of my CG Members for a time of fellowship also to minister to Colin...

Knowing he is reali down for a few weeks till to his boss sudden sacked him frm his work. So kind of want to cheer him up so we arranged to meet up.

We met at Cityhall and went to New York Cafe.... Hmmm..... Learn alot of tings..... But the best news of that day would be Colin's Previous Boss called him up and asked him to return to join his company... It a joy for Colin.... Praise The Lord!

After eating, we went back home.

Went to Hari Raya Visiting @ 10/19/2007 01:51:00 PM

We went on 15 October 2007 to one of my intern, Wani's Hse in Malaysia, Maur. Set off as early as 7am frm my hse. My coach ,Haris came to fetch me to go to Maur.


Half way thru the journey, we switched car and met up wiz Kak Zarinah, Abang Rafi and Abang Hussin and off we go into JB to have breakfast...

Our poor coach driving the car non stop.

Have a 3 hrs plus ride in the car and arrived in Wani's Hse just in time for Lunch. We had Prawns, Sweet and sour chicken.... and of course orange drinks.... Lol.... I ate until i m full... The food are so so delicious... Wahahaha..... Tell u loh... the prawns i had eaten are abt three fingers sticked together. Mouth watery liao...

After that, we proceeded to Malacca. It so fantastic in Malacca cos i gt to see alot of tings ard in there.. Showing u the pics as shown below:

After that, we went on a long long journey back home. :P

They are planning to go KL in Nov. Hope i can join them too... :P
